How to close or delete your Kraken Account

Closing your Kraken account is a simple step-by-step process that can be done directly on its website by reaching out to Kraken customer support.

  1. Open your Kraken Account, click your profile icon, and select support.
  1. Under the support section, scroll down and click on the link ‘Contacting Kraken support.
  1. You will be redirected to a new page, where you have to submit a ticket request.
  1. After clicking, select ‘other category’. Now, under the category, select the reason ‘Close account.’ Check all the boxes. Next, select the reason for closing the account, you can select one or multiple reasons. Once done, you can submit the request.
  1. In a few days, you will get the confirmation via email from Kraken that your account is deactivated.
